Maybe because the hump nose correction wasn’t done properly during my first surgery.. from the side it looked bumpy.. In reality it was worse than the photos I posted.. because of just that hump nose, my image looked a bit masculine.
The tip of my nose was also a bit blunt, so it had a bulbous-nose feel too. I also had rhinitis, so I did functional rhinoplasty together! Since this was a revision surgery, I really tried to consult at as many places as possible, and I think I went around to almost more than ten clinics
I had the surgery with Director Jung Yeon-ik at the plastic surgery clinic. Among the hospitals I consulted with, they were the kindest and looked over my case the most thoroughly, so I did it here! Of course the director’s skill is important, and when I was going around for consultations, I placed importance on how carefully they examined me and how well the communication went back and forth.
Especially, the way he clearly pointed out only what was possible, what wasn’t, and what was necessary made me trust him. When I went for the consultation, I also asked about double eyelid surgery, but he said my eyes are pretty as they are and didn’t recommend it
After nose surgery, for a while I was in and out of the hospital so busily for treatment and follow-up checks that I don’t remember much after the surgery These days, I’m going to get scar laser care for the autologous costal cartilage harvest site! It’s still quite noticeable, but I wonder if it’ll fade a bit over time
My rhinitis has definitely improved compared with before surgery! It’s really amazing that my nose isn’t blocked when I wake up in the morning! I was scared by people saying things like you have to get multiple revision nose surgeries, but fortunately I think this revision surgery will be my last
