I went for a consultation after watching YouTube, and there was no consultation fee. Consulted with the director first. Kind, and just like on YouTube, he spoke calmly and softly. As soon as I sat down, he told me I use my forehead when opening my eyes. Based on my condition, I would need a forehead lift, but since my forehead is wide, he did not recommend it. Because of that, he said both upper blepharoplasty and sub-brow lift were somewhat ambiguous.
Since I am older, I said I was afraid that an incisional upper blepharoplasty might possibly make my impression look harsh, and that I wanted a natural result. So he recommended starting with a less burdensome sub-brow lift, and later, if needed as I age, trying upper blepharoplasty. The consultant was also kind, and when I looked at the before-and-after photos of sub-brow lift surgery, the results were quite good.
