Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> My nose was very small and low, but I had a severe hump and the blunt, bulbous look stressed me out, so I had surgery. I had correction for a short nose and hump, plus osteotomy, and the materials used were silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage. I wrote about the surgery once before, so this time I wanted to write about the consultation. I noticed a lot of men find it hard and intimidating to go in for consultations. I had consultations at 3 places, and I only went to well-known clinics that many men are said to visit. I heard it’s best to bring photos to the consultation, so even though it was shameless of me, I brought a photo of Park Bo-gum. The directors didn’t react strangely at all and explained well how the surgery should be done and what materials should be used lol They said it couldn’t come out exactly the same, but they would do a good job. At one place, they even diagnosed me as needing bulbous nose correction, and at another place, they recommended donated costal cartilage. But the place where I had surgery gave me the feeling that they were recommending only the minimum necessary things, so I chose it. It’s already been 3 months, so a lot of the swelling has gone down, and I’m satisfied because the straight nose came out well. People around me also all say it was a good decision to have the surgery lol
