A review of my revision surgery because I hated my droopy eyes after canthoplasty

Hello This is a review of my final revision eye surgery at ㄷㅅㅇ after having so many revision eye surgeries and going through a hard time. Ever since I was young, having big eyes was my dream, so I had double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method, and after that I had posterior canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty several times. But maybe because they did not remove fat when I had the buried-suture method, my eyes looked like sausage eyes, so they looked stuffy. Later, I had them redone thinly, and it suited me so I was satisfied for a while, but after a few years the double eyelids got buried and became like inner double eyelids. In the end, I had double eyelid surgery again and was satisfied with a moderate thickness, but after a few years they got thin again, and it kept repeating.. It drives me crazy So even though my double eyelid surgery was not a failed case, the line kept getting thinner and the shape changed, so I kept getting it redone. While doing that, I had posterior canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty together, so my eyes did get bigger, but scars were visible at the back of my eyes, and the outer corners of my eyes dropped too much, making them look droopy, and that is when my dissatisfaction started I think the problem was that I had lower canthoplasty several times thinking my eyes would get bigger. It was not so droopy that other people would think it looked strange, but I like a cat-eye look, and it had become very far from my ideal. They said that to lift droopy eyes I should restore the canthoplasty, but I had done it several times to make my eyes bigger, and restoring it all at once? That is too much.. I do not want to spend money, spend time, and suffer either, but what can I do when my eyes keep changing? Now that I know, I feel wronged Because the eye structure had to be changed, ordinary double eyelid surgery would not work, so I ended up getting cat-eye revision double eyelid surgery + ponytail + Disney back-angle surgery Finally, on the day of surgery, after sleep anesthesia, they did local anesthesia so it would not hurt, and after that I woke up pretty quickly, but they had me open and close my eyes a lot. Other places also ask you to open and close your eyes to check both lines, but here, the operating room chair automatically rises and reclines, so they raised the chair, sat me up, and checked like that many times. They said the principle is that it creates a vacuum-like state inside the chamber and activates the body to promote regeneration. It was comfortable because it was care I could receive while lying down, and this was very high-end equipment. This was also a facility that other hospitals did not have The hospital interior also had a digital fireplace, checkered floors, a piano, and a stylish bookshelf with a moody vibe, so it felt luxurious, and the service facilities were also high-end, which was nice After that, a few months passed since the surgery At first I was satisfied and kept saying it was good, but as time passed, the double eyelid line came down slightly, and as the overcorrection under my eyes lifted, the round shape felt like it was becoming flatter. Of course, if you look at the photos, it improved a lot compared to the beginning. But you know how there is an expected look when there is still slight swelling after surgery? I was thinking, huh, somehow my eye shape is changing as the swelling goes down, so I felt disappointed I went back to the hospital after 6 months and told them, and they said my eyes are the kind that need to be enlarged little by little by gradually extending them. Is my recovery ability good or am I cursed.. My maddening eyes.. I thought I absolutely had to lift the drooping, so I said again that I wanted cat eyes and asked them to lift my eye shape, but because I have a long midface, they said that if the outer corners of my eyes were lifted too much or the under-eye area was lowered too much, my face would look even longer, so it was important to balance the upper and lower areas at an appropriate height. They also said that if the eyes are long horizontally, the face looks less long because of where the gaze goes, so they suggested posterior extension surgery. It was a surgery I was unfamiliar with. The difference from posterior canthoplasty is that it lengthens the eyes horizontally, but expands the white of the eye together so that the red flesh does not show, making it look like the eyes were naturally long I had never heard of being able to extend the whites of the eyes; it sounded like a magical surgeryㄷㄷ They said it is a surgery no one else in Korea can do. Is the director a wizard.. If I only thought about my personal taste, I really wanted cat eyes, but looking like my face is longer is even more horrifying, so I accepted the doctor’s opinion and this time had cat-eye revision double eyelid surgery + posterior extension surgery + Disney back-angle surgery again At first after the surgery, my eyes were so long that I wondered if it was okay for them to be this long, and thought I looked like a fox spirit I was so worried that I even asked whether the length would shrink For about a month my eyes were extremely long, but as the swelling gradually went down, I could see them getting shorter. The end line of the double eyelid also became higher than before, and my eyes became longer too, so even if I cannot have cat eyes in this life, I have long eyes now. This time it has been 3 months, and seeing that the shape has not suddenly dropped yet, I think it will be maintained The ends of my eyes are still red, but they said they will get better as time passes. It is not severe, so no one notices. The incision scars have also faded a lot, so no one knows I hope that after 6 months they fade so much that even I cannot tell If there is one thing I realized the more plastic surgery I had, it is that the shape of the eyes, nose, and mouth individually is not what matters; harmony is important. Some people have pretty features but do not look great when combined, and some people have plain features but a pretty image. In the end, harmony is important.
