2 Weeks After My First Eye Surgery

Before<Before>After<After>After<After>I usually had discomfort from sleepy-looking eyes or angry-looking eyes because ptosis blocked my field of vision. It was a problem that could be solved with makeup, but because of the COVID situation I stopped wearing makeup, and after hearing that ptosis gets worse with age, I decided to have surgery.

To be honest, I thought my visual obstruction was severe because I had a lot of fat around my eyes rather than because of ptosis, but after going to consultations, I was told that I did not have much eye fat, that the skin was sagging, and that my ptosis was severe. All the places I went to for in-person consultations said incision surgery was possible, but that to firmly correct the eye shape, it would be better to proceed with an incisional method. Since I had always had a complex about my epicanthal folds, I had medial epicanthoplasty done together. However, because the inner corners of my eyes are rather pointed, we decided to open them only slightly upward. Director ㅁㅇㅈ kindly explained things, including taking photos and showing them to me because my eyesight is not good and I couldn’t see well, so I chose the hospital and had the surgery.
