I was a bit bothered by how my lacrimal caruncle was showing, so I wondered if I should get restoration and went for a consultation. They said it was true that it was opened too much. Rather than saying it was a normal intercanthal distance, they explained accurately that the distance between the inner corners should be a certain amount according to the width of my face, and I liked that they showed me the expected shape after closing it. They said there wouldn’t be much change to my overall impression, and that I could think of it as being slightly covered into a round-pointed shape from my current eye shape. Aside from removing stitches after surgery, there’s no need to keep tape on or anything like that, so it does make me want to do it..
