I had a consultation for removal of autologous costal cartilage spreader grafts, an autologous costal cartilage columellar strut, diced costal cartilage on the nasal bridge, and layered diced costal cartilage grafting on the nasal tip. Because of function, the spreader grafts would be left in place and the rest removed (leaving the part that overlaps with the septal cartilage and removing the rest). The director is a bit businesslike and the type who only says what needs to be said. The explanation was easy to understand and concise. That said, he was not unfriendly. He confidently said it would go well, but since I am getting revision surgery because communication did not go well at the place where I had my first surgery, I am a little unsure.
