First of all, I wanted epicanthoplasty + double eyelid surgery, so I visited about 7 famous clinics in Seomyeon.. Honestly, it was 3 years ago, so there are a lot of parts I don't remember, so I brought only the 4 places I remember. This is my first post, so it might be a bit awkward, but if there’s anything I should fix, please tell me!
1) HN It was the most famous and a lot of people I know had it done there, so I went, but honestly I don't recommend it. It felt too factory-like, and it seemed like they didn’t really have the capacity to properly pay attention to me. It was winter break season then, so there were a lot of people, and I couldn’t consult with the director, only with the consultant. But that consultant’s double eyelids looked way too obvious. It gave off a “anyone can tell I had double eyelid surgery” vibe, so I came right out. Also, people I know who had it done here.. one person’s eyes became too intense, so honestly I don’t think I can say it turned out well... One person did turn out well, but that friend also had surgery 3 years ago like me, and now their eyes have become uneven.. So they’re looking into revision surgery now
2) DBD I went here because one of my acquaintances had surgery there too (this friend had double eyelid surgery with the same director her older sister went to). I looked up a lot of surgery reviews on this clinic’s website, but somehow they looked too unnatural. It may have felt even more that way because the look I wanted was a natural double eyelid that didn’t look like I had surgery. But there was one director whose reviews I really liked, so I looked that director up, and they said that director had moved to another clinic.. (This director comes up again below, so remember this) So I put it on hold for the time being, and I consulted with the consultant using the name of the director my friend’s sister went to. Honestly, they explained things very kindly and in detail, but no matter how I thought about it, the line was different from the look I wanted, so I just left
3) OHS I remember this was a one-doctor clinic. So the clinic name was also the director’s name... I went here too because a friend had it done, and that friend’s result was really good!! People were waiting on the first floor, and there were really so many people... So I did have a consultation, and this place was okay too, but honestly the price was much higher than other places, and I felt like I could get something similar for a better price, so I just left this place too..
4) NRY This was where the director I liked, who had been at DBD that I mentioned earlier, was working. I had looked up quite a lot of reviews before going, so I told the consultant that I wanted to have it done by this director, and that evening I was able to consult with the director right away. The director was younger than I expected, but very meticulous and explained things well, so I decided I should do it here. I scheduled the surgery date that day and went home. When I went for consultations, I went with my mom, and my mom also said she liked this place the most.
Some people might be curious about the director’s name! It was Director OJW, and when I looked again, they had opened a private clinic now called BD Plastic Surgery! My double eyelid surgery turned out really well, so if I don’t say I had double eyelid surgery, almost no one knows. I even kept asking the doctor to make it natural right up until I went into surgery lol. Oh, my aunt also saw my double eyelid surgery and had it done by this director, and hers turned out well too.. But this is only my personal opinion, and I think it’s really important to look for reviews with a line similar to what you want! I hope everyone gets pretty eyes
