I had been living thinking that monolids had their own charm, but as my eyes gradually drooped and it felt like they were covering my pupils, my impression looked stuffy, so I decided to get double eyelid surgery. When I said I wanted a natural look, they said my eye-opening strength was normal, so ptosis correction was not particularly necessary. Since I have a lot of fat on my upper eyelids, they recommended fat removal together with the buried-suture method. For the line, I could choose between an inline or an in-out line. I also said I wanted medial epicanthoplasty, but they said if I did that, I’d look like Shin Dong-yup, so absolutely not... They spoke honestly and recommended only exactly what was necessary, without overtreatment.
