Two-Jaw Surgery Review

It’s been about 9 months since I had two-jaw surgery. First of all, there are pros and cons. I don’t think it can only be good. My facial length got shorter, but my upper teeth don’t show when I smile. I look like a grandma; I’m in orthodontic treatment, but it feels like orthodontics won’t fix it. So I realized this is why people get philtrum reduction. It’s because the upper jaw was moved upward that much.

Second, my facial line looks better than before, but my nose got wider. They said my nose might only turn up, not spread out, but no? It spread. It definitely spread. I think it can’t be helped. When my face is expressionless, it’s still somewhat me, but when I smile, it’s a mess. This must be why people also get nose surgery after two-jaw surgery,,

I gained one thing, a shorter facial length, but I lost a lot too. Oh, and the surgical area feels so tight. My mouth was already small, and after surgery, the spaces outside the teeth became so small that it feels tight, and some pronunciations don’t come out well.

I reduced my facial length by one thing, but I lost a lot..... Still, when I look up side effects of two-jaw surgery, there are so many severe cases that I wonder if I should be grateful it’s only this much.

If I could go back, I think I might have just refined my chin tip a bit and redone orthodontic treatment.. But then I also wonder if I would have regretted not getting two-jaw surgery. Anyway, after two-jaw surgery, there are more areas that need touching up.... In places I didn’t expect...
