Before-before-after-after I had liposuction yesterday evening! It’s my first time ever writing a post in a plastic surgery community, so it feels interesting.. I was browsing through an app, booked a consultation at ㅊㅇㅅㄹㅇ, scheduled a surgery date, and then looked at the free-talk section. There weren’t many reviews for ㅊㅇㅅㄹㅇ, and there seemed to be too many ad-like posts about other clinics too, so while searching on Google I found this community. There were consultation reviews for ㅊㅇㅅㄹㅇ here too, but I couldn’t find arm reviews..! So I’m writing this in case anyone is considering it!
First, I only went to one consultation, at ㅊㅇㅅㄹㅇ! In the posts I saw, everyone said the price was in a league of its own, but they were very satisfied with the consultation and things like that..?!? They said the only reason they didn’t have surgery was just the price, so I thought, this is a one-time surgery.. let’s make up my mind and do it! and went for the consultation first!
I met with the consultant and talked with her. She spoke very calmly and gently.. She had such a different image from the consultants I usually meet when I go for procedures like InMode, Ultherapy, or Juvelook, so she just felt like a comfortable older sister?! It felt comfortable! But after looking at this community, it turns out she’s a very trusted consultant..? She’s a nurse and has a lot of experience too.. But she didn’t tell me those things, so I didn’t know until I saw the community..!
Then I met the director for the consultation, and wow.. Honestly, I’ve only been to one place for consultation, so I can’t compare, but he was really thorough, so I think I trusted him a lot! First of all, he had confidence.. He looked at my arms with ultrasound and told me about the fat thickness and expected effects and things like that. I trusted him, so that day I suddenly ended up scheduling surgery for the next week and came back..
I also mentioned that I was a bit concerned about my calves, and he said it wouldn’t be effective and told me absolutely not to do it..! He didn’t additionally suggest things like back fat either, saying I didn’t need to do them. Instead, he told me my upper arms were the only thicker area and told me not to do the other areas, so I think I trusted him even more!
I had the surgery yesterday! Right now it just feels like throbbing muscle soreness! I don’t have any plans today, so it’s okay, but for people who work or go to school, hmm.. I don’t think the next day would be easy.. Even lifting my arms to brush my teeth is really hard.. They go up a little less than 90 degrees! But I think this may vary by person!
My current condition is like the after photo: huh? It doesn’t look like my arm fat has decreased at all..! From a 45-degree angle, it still looks bulging! But they said the solution needs to drain out, and since it’s only been about 13 hours since the surgery ended.. it’s still in that state!! I’ll upload more later! If you have anything you’re curious about, I’ll answer everything! Since it was my first time, I was really nervous too, but I think I was more nervous about the sleep anesthesia, worrying that I might not wake up, than about the surgery haha..
Ah! And on the day of surgery, before writing the surgical consent form? with the doctor, I read and signed something like a notice about side effects with the consultant. There was wording saying they wouldn’t take responsibility for lumpiness and things like that, so I was a bit scared.. But when the doctor came in and wrote the surgical consent form, he said that because he would be doing the surgery himself, that would absolutely not happen, and even if it did, he would take responsibility until the end and make it look pretty. He was very confident, so I trusted him even more!
