Before-after before-after before This is my 1-month review after nostril base reduction + alar lift surgery.
Except for the surgical area feeling numb on the day of surgery, it didn’t hurt at all from the next day onward. Even the pain on the day of surgery was just a numb, tingling level, like when getting an ear piercing.
I honestly couldn’t really tell the difference from the alar lift, so I did regret adding it a bit, but the director did it very meticulously, so there is almost no scarring and it turned out natural, so I’m satisfied!
The front-view photo before surgery was taken while I was smiling slightly, so the difference looks a bit extreme in the photos, but when people around me see it in real life, they say it’s not to that extent, and that my nose looks higher and smaller than before, and the shape looks prettier than before.
For people like me who have a lot of flesh on the nose and large nostrils, making the nostril base wide, I think it will be effective. But for people whose nostrils are small and only look large because of flesh on the nostril base, I don’t think it will have any effect at all!
Additionally, the front desk staff kept forgetting one thing at a time, and their responses were careless, so I did feel a bit upset.. But from the consultant to the director and the operating room nurses, everyone was kind and took good care of me, so I really liked it.
