My square jaw was so severe that I wondered if orthodontic treatment might help, so I got braces, but it did not really have any effect on my square jaw. Still, I could see a slight effect of my protruding mouth moving inward. For me, orthodontic treatment alone could not have a major effect on my facial contour, so in the end I decided to have facial contouring surgery next week.
