Eye revision surgery

Ah, I had revision surgery with an incisional double-eyelid procedure and ptosis correction. My right eye healed well, but when I looked at my left eye, the skin is just open. It’s only about 1 mm, but it had been open from the beginning. I trusted the director because they have 20 years of experience and waited, but in this world, who can you really trust? Should I go back to the clinic? When I had the stitches removed and went for the follow-up, they didn’t say much, but the info desk staff there are all so mechanical, not friendly, formal, and they don’t tell you anything unless you ask, so I have to keep asking. Because I feel like I’m asking over and over, I shrink back for no reason, and seriously... that’s the biggest issue. So I was going to call and ask, but I’m worried they’ll think, “Oh, she’s calling again,” so I’m even watching their reaction. It doesn’t feel comfortable. Sigh, I don’t like it, I really don’t. And yet maybe they think they’re good at consultations? They’re not, but they seem confident. After eye surgery, if the skin hasn’t been sutured closed and there’s an open area, do I need to go back and have it sutured again? Has anyone had this? I’m worried I’ll go for nothing and they’ll say, “Oh, just leave it alone and it’ll resolve.” Sigh
