It has been about 4 years since I had surgery for a hump nose + bulbous nose reduction.
Even before surgery, my nose was basically not on the low side, and I had a strong aversion to materials like silicone, so I ruled out clinics that raised the nose with silicone. I had surgery at the clinic I trusted most among those that only shaved down the hump and covered it with autologous dermis.
To be honest, it’s fair to say the bulbous nose reduction had almost no effect, but when viewed from the side, the bridge line looks clean and sharp, so I’ve been living with moderate satisfaction.
And because I didn’t raise the nose, there’s no dramatic effect, just a slight change in image? As for reactions from people around me, only people with a good eye say, “Something seems different..?” or most people don’t notice at all.
I also wanted it to be as natural as possible rather than flashy, so I’m sufficiently satisfied.
