I had the surgery around this time in 2022, so it has already been 2 years, and to start with the conclusion, I’m very satisfied. I went to a clinic in Seoul that my parents introduced me to, and I remember that there were a lot of people waiting in the lobby. So after arriving, I had several tests starting with a vision test, then first had a consultation with someone like a consultant, and afterward met the director. From what I remember, I also had Two-Day LASEK and a procedure that helps reduce glare.
For the surgery, I went in, had anesthetic in an artificial-tear-type formulation dropped into my eyes, waited, and then entered the operating room. At that time, I think I lay down and just stared endlessly at the laser without blinking. I had read in reviews that it smells like burning squid, and it was exactly that smell. And it really didn’t take long, but from the time I was going home, my eyes started to hurt a lot. On the first day, after arriving home, I closed the curtains, wore sunglasses, didn’t touch my phone, and spent about two days enduring that eye pain. At the time, I cried so much that my eyes were swollen and I couldn’t even open them, but on the third day, as my eyes started opening, I began seeing a whole new world! It was truly painful, but even now I don’t regret it at all and think I’m really glad I had it done!!
