3-Month Review of Long-Curve Square Jaw Surgery and Cortical Osteotomy~

Before<Before surgery>After<After surgery>After<After surgery>It has been 3 months since I had long-curve square jaw surgery and cortical osteotomy on June 14, 2024~! I wrote most of the content at the 1-month mark, but I’m going to write once more about my motivation for surgery and recovery process :) My motivation for surgery was, as it is for anyone, that I was dissatisfied with my face shape. As for the recovery process, until the second day I was almost dead because of nausea, and if I had been enduring it while holding onto the bathroom toilet, the rest of the recovery period had no inconveniences except that opening my mouth felt a bit stiff until the 1-month mark and that I had to sleep sitting up until week 2 haha. Now that 3 months have passed, except for acquaintances who know I had surgery, most people who saw me after a long time asked why I lost so much fat in my face, so the surgery turned out naturally and well. I have no discomfort at all in daily life, and because my face shape changed, I started doing makeup that I did not do often, and I confidently show my jaw that I used to cover with my hair every day because I was self-conscious about it, and I live tying my hair often haha. Because my satisfaction after surgery is so great, I do not regret having the surgery at all. My stress when I had a square jaw was so big that I think having jaw surgery was the best thing I did, and now I am living very satisfied. That does not mean I am urging or recommending surgery! Because it is surgery that cuts bone, I hope you think very carefully and make your decision :)
