The top photo is before surgery, and the bottom is after surgery.
My upper lip asymmetry was a complex of mine, and I really hated my long philtrum too. I considered getting only a philtrum reduction, but I thought it would be good if my upper lip could be corrected at the same time, and my lateral philtrum length was also extremely long, so I ended up getting them all at once.
The hospital measured my philtrum as 2.2 cm before surgery, and after surgery, when I measure it myself, it comes out to 1.6 cm. During surgery they said they would reduce it by 4.5 mm, but when I measure it, this is what I get haha I’m super satisfied with the length, but there is some tightness. When I open my mouth wide, I feel a pulling sensation between above my upper lip and the middle of my nose. Since the skin was forcibly shortened, it’s something that happens, but I’m thinking time will take care of it I really like my upper lip, so even if a little scar remains along the lip line, I’m willing to accept it haha. But they said that if I apply the medication well, scarring can improve up to half a year, so I set alarms on my phone and am reapplying it every two hours. I used to have a duck-like image, but now when I look, I don’t really get that feeling much, so I like it. I’ll write another review next time.
