I had eye surgery about 7 years ago. Back then, I was young and living outside Seoul, so the thought of going all the way up to Seoul for surgery itself never even occurred to me.
I remember having a consultation at a hospital that was said to be famous in my area, and then having surgery about a month later.
It was so long ago that my memory is hazy, but as time passed, one eye developed an extra crease, so I decided to have revision surgery. When I decided on revision surgery, a lot of people around me tried to stop me because the first surgery had turned out so well and I had lived with those eyes for the past 7 years.
But cosmetic surgery is really about self-satisfaction, so since I had decided to get nose surgery, I just got my eyes and nose done together!
As a result, I’m really satisfied, and I can see that the extra crease has disappeared!!
Maybe because I did it together with my nose, I honestly didn’t have much time to pay attention to my eyes. Still, I did cold compresses at least 6 times a day and went out for walks,
On day 7 after surgery, I had the stitches removed, and one eye was more swollen. They said it was because that was the eye that had previously loosened (extra crease), so they tied more knots there!
I hope a year passes quickly so it becomes even more natural! Looking at friends around me who have had it done, and thinking from my own experience too, after about a year the eyes seem to become really, really natural!
