In 2008, when I didn’t know anything, I looked on Naver Knowledge iN and went to a clinic. I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method in an outline shape, and the surgery result turned out well. When I posted it in a cosmetic surgery cafe, I got almost 100 comments asking for the clinic information, and after seeing my result and saying it was pretty, my friend also got double eyelid surgery at the same clinic.
But.... People say it depends on the person, but both my friend’s and my eyes all came undone ^^;
In my case 4 years after surgery, left side came undone -> revision surgery, free of charge 5 years after surgery, right side came undone -> revision surgery, 300,000 won 12 years after surgery, left side came undone (last year) -> I’m looking into revision surgery ^^;
At the time, I heard it was something like a double buried suture method..... They said it would never come undone for life, and if it did, lifetime free aftercare would be possible, but when I had revision surgery on my right eye in the 5th year after surgery, they told me to pay 300,000 won...^^;
Since 2008, the clinic has moved location once.
These days, surgical methods must have improved too... After living with uneven eyes for a year, it has gradually gotten worse, so I joined to look into other places too and am leaving a review. They say whether it comes undone varies by person, so I think it would be good to just refer to this as one example of someone like this existing ^^
This is just a side note... Because I had the experience of each eye coming undone one after the other lol in my mid-20s, when I was at an age people say is the prettiest,,, I also found myself quietly worrying, what if it comes undone right before my wedding? haha Of course, I’m already married
