The first cosmetic surgery I ever had, after turning forty, was fat grafting/liposuction. Rather than wanting liposuction itself, I had liposuction for the purpose of fat grafting because my face looked skeletal. The most important thing is to get it done well the first time. If liposuction goes wrong and you need correction, there are not many clinics that want to do it, and the places that say they will do it charge whatever they want. To fill in depressed areas and smooth out an uneven surface, you have to repeat fat grafting several times, and no matter how well it is done, it does not go back to how it was originally. When I look at the photos I took as a record before liposuction, I really regret it. My fat used to be very firm, and my body was sturdy from exercising a lot, smooth and bouncy, but now there are depressions here and there and areas that have been filled in. It is not so bad that I cannot look at it, but it is not a body or skin that anyone would call pretty. There is also a lot of hyperpigmentation here and there. Needless to say, it cost a lot of money. I just keep thinking it would have been better to live with a skeletal-looking face. You should not take liposuction lightly. Because all plastic surgeons do it, it may seem easy, but it absolutely is not.

I had been looking into ways to lose only facial fat, and I decided on facial liposuction because, considering how long the results last, I thought it would be better than contouring injections, Shurink, or Ultherapy! I’m definitely more sa
