I had my first breast surgery a year ago, and I was just so happy about the one fact that my breasts had gotten bigger..? lol I ended up neglecting the aftercare, so I missed the whole period when the shape and feel could have improved.... In the end, I went around to consultations again and finished revision surgery~ (When I say aftercare, everyone may understand it differently, but in my case, I basically... didn’t follow what the clinic told me to do Don’t be like me)
Honestly, for my first surgery, I just went after seeing a clinic advertisement, and I thought a large-scale clinic would probably be the best? That was why I went. At first, I liked it, but after the surgery, whenever I had questions and asked them, I couldn’t really get clear answers... (The director was a bit young) I felt I didn’t receive satisfactory follow-up care, so this time, regardless of size, I went on consultation tours looking only at >> the director’s experience <<
Since mine was a revision surgery, the time spent getting explanations was much~ longer than during my first surgery. Among them, I was definitely more drawn to the clinic that explained in more detail what condition my breasts were currently in and how surgery should be done to produce a normal breast shape, rather than clinics that simply said, “The surgery will proceed like this~” gave only a diagnosis, and ended there!
And I saw somewhere that people think revision surgery always has to be done through an inframammary incision...? (Honestly, I thought so too..) But this time, I had my revision surgery through the armpit incision! Compared with an inframammary incision, the transaxillary approach is a much~ more difficult surgery, and especially if someone like me had the breast pocket expanded and the capsule removed through the armpit incision, you can consider the director’s experience and skill already proven
Originally, my breast fold lines didn’t match, and the texture felt re~ally bad..... (It looked okay only because underwear could kind of cover it?) This time I had revision surgery with Mentor Xtra implants (I got 325cc on both sides!), and now the fold lines match perfectly. As time passes, the texture is softening, so I’m satisfied~
Most of all, during my first surgery, I really didn’t receive any care worth mentioning.... lol The clinic’s aftercare system is really well set up, and since I’m a revision case, both the director and the staff take thorough care of me, so I’m continuing to go in regularly for progress checks!
It would have been perfect if I had researched this properly and had it done this way from my first surgery.. But even now, I think I can live satisfied that I found a good clinic and succeeded with my breast surgery. There will never be a second revision surgery in my life!! haha Everyone who is stressed because of their breasts like I was~ I hope you quickly go around to consultations and choose carefully~!
