It has been one month since I had revision rhinoplasty. Because I had a long nose and visible nostrils, I wanted improvement for an upturned nose, deviated septum, and uneven nostrils, so I had surgery at a hospital in Gangnam, Seoul, spending close to 8 million KRW. Before surgery, the surgical plan was set as long-nose correction, correction of visible nostrils, nostril lowering, dragon-nose correction, and septal fixation. The nasal bridge was done with AlloDerm, and the nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage. On the first day of surgery, I had a splint on and cotton attached, but I was worried because the nasal tip looked severely lifted. Now, after one month, the nasal bridge looks lifted, the upturned nose has not improved, the nasal bridge has developed depression, the dragon nose doesn’t seem corrected, and they said they did nostril lowering, but it is still exposed as it was. The skin on my nose is black and red as if it has become necrotic, but the hospital keeps saying only that because they removed permanent filler from my nose and removed Medpor, the surgery was much more complicated than for other patients, so it is swollen and the redness may last a long time, and that it will look refined over time. Do I just have no aesthetic sense? To my eyes, it just looks ruined, and I have been having such a hard time psychologically for a month.. What should I ask for? If it still doesn’t come back after follow-up, I think revision surgery may come up, but I have no desire to have revision surgery at that hospital. Could I get a refund, seniors? It’s so hard day by day ㅠ The hospital just keeps talking about swelling and time, but how much longer are they telling me to wait? ㅠ I’ll attach before and after photos. The photos are, from the top, 3 before-surgery photos, and the rest are after surgery. Please judge for me. Is it just my eyes that are wrong.. Is the hospital right, or did I have a successful rhinoplasty...
