I had surgery for rhinitis + a deviated septum + a hump nose in January 2019.
The rhinitis itself seems to have come back, but because they shaved down the hump, breathing is more comfortable than before, so I feel less sleepy.
My nasal bridge itself is quite high, so I remember they used cartilage from behind my ear, since the tip of the nose could have looked too sunken.
However, I’m not sure if this is the same for people who had nose surgery elsewhere, but when I touch the tip of my nose, it still feels strange, like it would bend from impact.
