Before/after Hello, I had a minor epicanthoplasty restoration done at Gangnam Mate Plastic Surgery. I had a consultation 2-3 years ago, back when it wasn’t famous, and I really wanted to get it done here, but I got scared and ended up canceling the appointment. Time passed like that, and in the end I visited again and got it done haha Why did I only do it now?
Anyway, before the restoration, the distance between my eyes was 30 mm, so it was very narrow, and I requested a rounded-pointed shape (pointed 80, rounded 20). There was a hook-shaped fold coming down at the inner corner of my eye, and maybe because of that, my dark circles looked worse, so I always looked tired and hollow. The director said there was a break in my aegyo-sal, so we should restore that together too, and I proceeded with minor restoration + correction of the aegyo-sal break.
I didn’t have any separate scars, and there was a white scar inside the skin, so it wasn’t very noticeable.
Honestly, I thought the swelling after surgery would be really bad, but there was no swelling, and I went to work right away the next day ^^.. Even though I had tape on, I already felt satisfied.
My eyesight is bad, so I had to wear glasses, but after surgery they recommend lenses after one month. The glasses arms made my skin feel more pulled and painful, so 2 weeks after surgery I just gently put in lenses from the back side.
Even now I’m still washing my face gently, and I try not to touch my eyes as much as possible. So far, I don’t think there has been any widening, but a white scar has formed. But honestly.. I already went into the surgery thinking that there can’t be absolutely no scarring, so it hurts my heart a little, but I cover it well and go around haha
My friends said my mistake was not getting epicanthoplasty restoration sooner lolololol They said it’s amazing that my old face came back. Anyway, now the distance between my eyes is 32-33 mm, and the inner corners of my eyes turned out exactly how I wanted, so I’m completely happy..
