I was concerned that the philtrum area was a bit long, making me subtly look older. Then I learned about philtrum reduction surgery, looked around a bit, judged this to be the best place, and went for a consultation. It seemed like they carefully assessed the central part of the face based on the philtrum so that the surgery could create a good-looking proportion without making it too long or too short. It looked like the visual effect could be emphasized without damaging the skin layers or facial bones.
