Eye Surgery Reviews

Brief summary review of consultations in Seomyeon

I was debating between Seoul and Busan, but Busan is a bit closer, so here’s my review of going to consultations in Seomyeon. Me - non-incisional double eyelid surgery 3 years ago, one eye came undone + one line became an inner double eyelid

1) ㄷㅍㅇㅅ I ended up being about 20 minutes late for my appointment Maybe because of that, I waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes haha. I only consulted with the manager, and they said epicanthoplasty was optional, but if I did it, my eyes would look more open. Since it would be epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction + revision surgery, they recommended an incisional in-out line. I’ve also heard people say it feels a bit factory-like, and I wasn’t that drawn to it, so I’m keeping it on hold for now.

2) ㅎㄴ I didn’t wait much and consulted only with the manager right away. They said my eyes don’t need epicanthoplasty, so ptosis correction + incision. They said I just need one double eyelid line drawn and that it’s very easy. They said there weren’t many appointment slots left with Director Go, so I paid a 50,000 won deposit for now and left.

Some time passed, then the second day of consultations. 3) ㅈㅅㅎ I didn’t know this hospital, but found it while reading reviews in this community, so I went. They said exactly what I’d heard in this community, so during the consultation it was kind of interesting and funny. First, they said there’s no such thing as naturally pretty eyes; eye surgery is done to look pretty, so they’ll make it as subtle as possible, but it should be noticeably pretty eyes They also explained ptosis correction and said I don’t need ptosis correction either. Since the space between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, every other hospital also told me they couldn’t set the line high, but here they said none of that matters, and if only the eyes are pretty, whether it’s narrow or wide won’t show They felt very friendly. Anyway, a very slight epicanthoplasty + incision, but they did say the scar would remain, even if faintly.

4) ㅋㅇㅇㅈ Here too, the wait wasn’t long. I had a brief consultation with the manager and then a consultation with the director, but here they said my Mongolian fold means I can’t have epicanthoplasty. They said ptosis correction + incision, and that I need removal of the sagging upper eyelid fat? But they said surgery reservations have to be made in person, so it’s impossible for someone from outside Busan

5) ㅈㄴ Went here last. I arrived earlier than my appointment time, but went in with almost no wait. I consulted with Director Cha, and just like ㅋㅇㅇㅈ, they said my eyes have skin covering the upper part. So the line needs to be set a bit higher, but because of the distance to the eyebrows, they said my eyes are somewhat difficult. Still, when they held the line for me, I liked it the most, and above all I just had a good feeling Looking at reviews, people say double eyelid surgery is ultimately about your own feeling while going around for consultations This one felt the best! Anyway, they said to do just a slight epicanthoplasty + incision. It was the cheapest!

Just one question here haha. For those who had epicanthoplasty + incision at ㅈㄴ, how was it? Scars, side effects, line, things like that..
