This is my honest, self-paid review after receiving Botox in the temporalis muscles. I also grind my teeth somewhat, and when stressed, I get severe throbbing and stiffness in my temples and the temporalis muscles on the sides of my head, so I finally decided to get the injections. The procedure itself was simple. Apart from slight stiffness when receiving the injections, it was not especially painful and ended quickly. Immediately afterward, I felt a slight heaviness on the sides of my head. To give the conclusion first, the effect was “so-so.” After about two or three weeks, the stiffness in my temporalis muscles and headaches seemed to ease very slightly, but I did not feel that my head became dramatically lighter or that my teeth grinding was greatly reduced.
