This is my review after going to consultations for eye revision yesterday!
My double eyelid crease itself is a semi-out crease with an appropriate height, but I have sagging skin at the outer corners of my eyes, so if only that part could be improved, I didn’t want to change my double eyelids much or make them flashy! I looked up a lot of reviews for clinics said to be good at eye revision surgery, then chose just 4 places and went around.
ㅍ - I requested a consultation with Director ㄱㄷㄱ, but the consultant said Director ㄱㄷㄱ has a flashy style and didn’t seem to match the look I’m pursuing, so she recommended another director I also knew Director ㄱㄷㄱ does flashy eyes, but I had just designated him because he is the most famous director at ㅍ, so I said okay. But when I consulted with the other director, he brought up a sub-brow lift, and told me to choose between sub-brow lift + removal of skin in front of the eyes (=they said it’s the same as upper canthoplasty) or natural adhesion + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty. (But the double eyelid line he drew for me was really not good..) The prices weren’t very different for either option, and they were cheaper than the price I had expected for revision surgery.
The consultant was kind and not bad, and the director was also kind and okay, but since he is a director with not many reviews..
ㄷㄹㅅ - Director ㅎㅅㅈ Honestly, after seeing the clinic atmosphere and interior, I was a bit.. The consultant was like that too; it kind of had a neighborhood clinic..? vibe, so my first impression wasn’t great. As I’d seen in various reviews, the director was a bit chic, but not unfriendly. He listened carefully to my concerns, and the line he drew was the prettiest among all the places I visited that day. It was a subtle difference, but I felt like I understood why he’s famous for eyes. He recommended natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty, and said ptosis correction would be good if I did it but I didn’t have to. When I asked what he thought about the sub-brow lift that ㅍ had mentioned, he said he didn’t recommend it in my case and that later it would be better to get a forehead lift instead.
ㄸㅋ - Director ㄱㅎㅅ Honestly, I added this place because a few of my friends had eye revision surgery with Director ㄱㅎㅅ. But the consultant here looked at my eyes and immediately, out of nowhere, shouted that double eyelid surgery was impossible and that I needed a forehead lift.. She said the director would probably tell me to get a forehead lift too She was kind, though.. But when I actually consulted with the director, he said it should be possible with double eyelid surgery and told me to get a forehead lift later. While drawing the line, he said I didn’t need ptosis correction or canthoplasty, so just do natural adhesion. But even though it was just natural adhesion without anything else, the price was the most expensive About the sub-brow lift, he said the same thing as ㄷㄹㅅ.
ㅁㅇㄷㅇ - Director ㅈㄴ The clinic is clean and nice. Just looking at it, it feels like the facilities would be good. The consultant was also kind and not bad, but this consultant also mentioned a forehead lift, saying this clinic views a forehead lift as a type of eye surgery,, But here too, once I actually consulted with the director, he said natural adhesion alone would be possible and that canthoplasty or ptosis correction weren’t necessary. The line he drew was also pretty, and the price was the cheapest
For now, I excluded ㅍ and ㄸㅋ because they don’t seem to suit me, and I’m deciding between ㄷㄹㅅ and ㅁㅇㄷㅇ..
For ㄷㄹㅅ, the clinic itself was really not great, and there seem to be a lot of promotional reviews, so I’m a bit hesitant But the line the director drew was the prettiest, and when I look at review photos, they’re so my style..
For ㅁㅇㄷㅇ, the clinic is clean, there is an anesthesiology specialist, and the price is the cheapest, but the review photos from ㄷㄹㅅ look prettier.. The bruising after surgery seems heavier compared with ㄷㄹㅅ..
ㄷㄹㅅ would be natural adhesion with upper canthoplasty. ㅁㅇㄷㅇ would be natural adhesion only, but I’m wondering whether to do upper canthoplasty too.. Anyway, that’s my footwork review from yesterday!
I’m not going to visit more places and will choose between these two.
