It’s revision eye surgery, and I only went to clinics that aim for a natural look.
My right eye has an inline double eyelid, so I wanted it changed to an in-out line or a thin semi-out line, and my left eye had come almost completely undone and had multiple creases, so I wanted that improved.
Clinic 1 Incisional ptosis correction Very expensive They said a trace line would inevitably remain. A semi-out line is pretty, but if I want it to look defined without being obvious, I need an in-out line. The line wasn’t as pretty as I expected, but the in-out line they made at the end was pretty.. They said the left side needs to be lowered and the right side needs to have the line raised.
Clinic 2 Incisional ptosis correction, about 1 million KRW cheaper than Clinic 1 They recommended in-out because if I do semi-out, it could create two lines and there is a chance of a sausage-like eyelid. Also, the space between my eyebrows and eyes is on the narrow side, so no semi-out; I need in-out. Fat repositioning is also included when doing incisional ptosis correction. They accurately pointed out the issue that one eye opens less. They said if I do fat grafting, it cannot be done right away. It’s a surgery that has to be done a week later, apparently (?)
Clinic 3 Recommended incisional ptosis correction and fat grafting The left-eye line needs to be lowered, and the right-eye line needs to be raised slightly. Scar removal Recommended an in-out line; said I must not do semi-out. I have sunken eyes. Not an easy case.
Clinic 4 Incisional ptosis correction, fat grafting Raise it about 1 mm for a semi-out line between in-out and semi-out The left eye is sunken. They said they would release all the multiple creases? in the eye.
Wow.. consultation-hopping is hard. Besides the clinics above, I also went to Clinic 5, Clinic 6, Clinic 7, and Clinic 8, and I think I need to consult more..
