A few days ago, I went to see the director for a consultation for the first time in a year, but he just took a quick look and said my lacrimal caruncle wasn’t excessive.
Still, he said he would do epicanthoplasty restoration surgery for free as aftercare, but even though the doctor himself has many years of experience, there aren’t any hospital reviews posted about restoration,
and the fact that the doctor doesn’t seem to understand my problem bothers me too. Even though I know I can’t trust him with it, realistically, in this mental state I can’t even work, and I don’t have money, so it’s hard to go somewhere new and get it done.
The doctor is one thing, but I’m also struggling in many ways with why my lacrimal caruncle looks too exposed... Other people look natural even when they have visible lacrimal caruncles like me.
I don’t know if I feel this way because my eyes look unnatural right now, or if the lacrimal caruncle itself is actually excessive...
It seems like it won’t matter whether I get the restoration a bit later or do it now anyway, so I think I’ll just wait a little longer and get epicanthoplasty restoration through the aftercare service...
I’m so exhausted that it’s hard to even look into anything more.
I’m at a stage where I know what the problem is but want to deny it, and at the same time I’m in this weird state of giving up completely.
I feel like plastic surgery is just gambling... It’s not like doctors are necessarily skilled, and if a few people turn out well, they use that to promote themselves, while the people who don’t turn out well just end up that way.
Even after getting it done by a doctor with decades of experience, this kind of problem can happen, so I wonder what there even is to trust.
