After going around for consultations, I also found out that I have quite a lot of fat around my eyes I think fat removal was something they commonly recommended. Because of my Mongolian folds, I personally really wanted epicanthoplasty, and I think I did well getting it done haha They explained that it’s the period when scar tissue from the epicanthoplasty can come up, so the inner corners of my eyes are red, but that it will all settle down with time. If I wear makeup, it doesn’t show much lol
When I looked at hospital reviews, a lot of them said the consultation was thorough and professional, and they even measured the distance between my eyes with a ruler..!! They kept marking the line until it suited me well + matched the style I wanted, and I think that had a really big impact. It may vary from person to person, but I’m posting this because I wanted to share that swelling at about 1 month after non-incisional double eyelid surgery looks roughly like this!
