Before-before-after-after-after Hello I had double-jaw surgery and 3 types of facial contouring surgery (cheekbones + square jaw + chin) at Y Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in September 2023. Somehow a year has already passed, so I’m writing a review! When I think back to when I had the surgery, it seems like it was really difficult, but now that feeling is getting hazy.
These days, I’m spending each day really happily. I’m also so satisfied when taking selfies or photos! I’m so happy now that the malocclusion, which had been a lifelong complex, has been corrected.
Sometimes when old photos come up, I’m shocked. Ah, my face used to be this angular. Every time I see them, I really feel that I did well to have it done.!
And before, it felt comfortable for my tongue to rest against my lower teeth, but now that it naturally rests at the top, even after a year has passed, it still feels so fascinating. My teeth were also a little crooked, and I’m happy that this was corrected too!
As for sensation, I think everything has come back except for the lower jaw area! There is still a numb, tingling feeling left. It will gradually come back, right? It’s not very uncomfortable, so I’m living well. There’s no food I can’t eat, and although I don’t really eat some things because they’re uncomfortable due to orthodontic treatment, it’s that I don’t eat them often, not that I can’t eat them~ Honestly, after surgery, the first 1 to 3 months are a bit uncomfortable, but the happiness that follows is bigger. Think it over carefully, and I really recommend it.
And as the swelling gradually goes down and it becomes my face, I’m grateful to the director. I think there was less sagging because he didn’t let me be greedy and did it appropriately~ The part about elasticity can’t be helped because I couldn’t do it when I was younger, but he took that into consideration, so I really think I was right to trust Director Lee Seok-jae.
