I went to these three places, and I'll just briefly write down what I heard. I don't really like keeping records, so I didn't take any particular notes... Some places send the surgical method and estimate by KakaoTalk, which helps, yeah.
1) ㅂㄴㄴ(ㅏㅏㅏ) The consultation with the director alone was about 15 minutes. There was no wait. The atmosphere was that the director mainly explained things rather than the consultant. They waited enough for me to ask if I had any questions. From what I heard from the consultant, this place has a higher proportion of patients coming for revision rhinoplasty than primary rhinoplasty. (Ah, so I started thinking, is this a place that's good at difficult surgeries?) Since it's a revision, I want to use costal cartilage, but I haven't decided yet whether to use autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage. They told me how the estimate would come out if I used donated costal cartilage, and how much would be added if I used autologous costal cartilage. It seems to differ by almost 1 to 1.5 million won, pretty similar to other revision rhinoplasty clinics. They expected that lifting the drooping part with costal cartilage and improving the insufficient bulbous nose correction would make it much better. They took a 3D CT. Interesting.
2) 431 Wait, why is the consultation fee 50,000 won..? Is it because I consulted with the chief director? I went because I heard they do natural-looking results well. As expected, the director pursues natural beauty. Lower the silicone and proceed with bulbous nose correction. No need for nostril reduction. Since it's a place famous for revision surgery, the consultation was professional, yeah. If you say you're canceling one week before, the deposit is 100% refundable. They said to use autologous costal cartilage. If using costal cartilage, they recommend autologous costal cartilage. They explained in a somewhat conservative, safer direction.
3) ㅇㄴㅅㅌ (ㅏㅓㅡㅣ) They also took a 3D CT here. I had some expectations because I heard many people go there for contracted nose. The director explained kindly. No need to remove the capsule; just replace the silicone and use autologous costal cartilage. They showed me the nose surgery result with Photoshop. I asked about donated costal cartilage, and they talked about inflammation-related and drooping-related issues, so I wondered if this place pushes autologous costal cartilage.. Still, the consultant explained kindly and there was no pressure to book, so that was good. Here, they also said to raise the nasal tip a lot.. The previous clinic designed it naturally, but here they said to raise it more glamorously than I expected, so I'm conflicted. The first clinic seems like the middle ground between them.. I'm really torn about what to do with the design;; (The estimate is also stronger than I expected)
Design is one thing, but since I chose places that many people go to for revision rhinoplasty, the directors each had different aesthetic preferences, so I'm confused.. I think it may be better to visit more places. Even for revision rhinoplasty, you have to look at aesthetics too, don't you..
