Nose Surgery Reviews

3 days after short, low rhinoplasty!

Day 1 Didn't hurt at all I woke up twice during surgery, so as soon as it was over I walked to the recovery room, and I even just took the subway home on my own When I got home, I did cold compresses and ate pumpkin porridge and took swelling medicine (To tell the surgery story, I woke up in the middle and even talked with the director. When I asked if he could recommend a song, he said the septum harvesting part would probably hurt, but if I could تحمل that, he'd play whatever song I wanted So I held out and asked him to play the song I wanted I woke up again near the end while he was stitching my ear, and I could hear the sound, so I asked whether he had used ear cartilage. Maybe because of the local anesthesia, it didn't hurt at all!) I saw a lot of reviews saying it's hard to open your mouth well, so I bought pumpkin porridge in a pouch, and it was really convenient. I recommend it. And I just drank water with a straw and did cold compresses. But my ear hurt a bit, and I had a slight headache, so I took one Tylenol. My nose just ached a little...? Even after I got home, I kept memorizing vocabulary and watching YouTube like usual. Since I'm the kind of person who sleeps well on planes, I didn't even wake up in the middle and slept incredibly well

Day 2 I thought I'd wake up all puffed up in the morning, but when I looked in the mirror I just had oily skin and was barely swollen... I already tend not to swell much, but I didn't expect to swell this little at all. My nose kept itching, so I sneezed once, but the sneeze came out more like I was blowing my nose, and it felt like blood was running inside my nose..? I got scared and texted the hospital right away, but they replied that it was fine, so I was relieved. Right after the sneeze, the inside of my nose stung a little, but after a while it got better. The ear pain disappeared completely too, and other than the discomfort of having something sitting on top of my nose, it felt completely normal. I usually don't bother eating when I'm lazy, but since I thought I should keep my immunity up to recover quickly and avoid inflammation, I made sure to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner on time. For reference, I ate blueberries and bananas for breakfast, rye bread and yogurt for lunch, and only foods said to be good for swelling, like seaweed soup and kabocha squash, for dinner.. And I didn't look in the mirror as often as I expected. Partly because I was consciously avoiding it, and partly because I thought, what's the point of looking and worrying now? So I just kept using my phone Maybe because I've been a bit busy lately, it felt like a long-awaited vacation, so I just liked it^^ Also, because my really close friends came to visit, I kept laughing, so I had to press down my cheekbones and force myself not to smile..ha, holding in laughter is the hardest thing. As expected, I slept better than my friends

Day 3 Finally, the cotton removal! It was supposed to come out yesterday, but yesterday was a holiday... so it was removed today!! Removing the cotton hurt more than the surgery큐 Suddenly tears just kept streaming down I also got an antibiotic injection and had the tape redone I heard the doctor explain the surgery again in detail, and after briefly removing the splint and checking my nose, it was fine!! Once the swelling goes down from here, it'll get slimmer and a bit lower, so I think it'll be just naturally nice and okay, which made me feel a lot more at ease... I liked how carefully the doctor handled the aftercare, and he kept asking if I had any questions!! It really was so much more comfortable once the cotton was out Actually, even when I still had the cotton in, it just felt like I had caught a nasal cold, but after it was removed it felt really comfortable and refreshing!! I've always been the type who doesn't swell much and doesn't bruise easily, so I don't think I swelled a lot or got much bruising either
