When raising the nasal bridge, you can ask how many millimeters will be inserted, or say what number of millimeters you think would be good and ask what the director thinks. With alar reduction too, if you do a lot of in-person consultations and research well, even in terms of numerical measurements, like how many millimeters need to be reduced to get this result, you can align the details you want with the doctor in charge. But when doing nasal tip surgery, questions like how many millimeters it will be raised are hard to ask... It is also hard to express it accurately in numbers, because it is not just height, but the angle that has to be adjusted too.. And when I looked at blog posts, many people said they left it up to the director, so I also just left it to the director and only said, please raise it a bit. But as a precaution, they said that at first there would be swelling and it would not be fully settled, so it could look very high and the nostrils could show... So I asked if that meant it would look like an upturned nose in the beginning, and they said not to that extent. So I left it to them, had the surgery, and when I saw that it was higher than before, I was satisfied. But people around me kept saying, isn't something wrong? So I said it would be okay once the swelling went down, and a week later, after taking off the splint, I looked in the mirror. It was completely an upturned nose, to the point that from the front you could clearly see all of my nostrils. But the director said it turned out really well, so I asked again whether it would come down with time, and the response was like, why do you keep asking something obvious.... I feel a bit uncomfortable uploading photos. Really, the nasal tip angle is raised by at least about 40 degrees, and both nostrils are just completely visible. Does this really come down with time?? This?? Even when I look at photos in other posts, they are not this bad. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ They said that if it goes wrong, they will do correction or revision surgery for free after 6 months, but if this is a wrong nose, free or whatever, I still have to live with this nose for 6 months, and I have to go through that terrifying and difficult 1 week again ㅠㅠ I feel so upset and scared that this might be a botched nose..
