Before before before <before surgery> after after after <after surgery> Everyone, did you know there are different types of hump noses? Some people have nasal bridge bones that protrude, but in my case, they said my nasal tip drooped lower than my nasal bridge, so it looked like a hump nose lol I only found out after going to the clinic and getting a CT scan, so if anyone is worried because of a hump nose, I think going around for consultations is definitely one option. Honestly, the start of nose surgery begins with knowing what kind of nose I have ^^...
Anyway, because my nasal bridge was thick and I had a bit of a bulbous nose, I decided to get nose surgery thinking that my nose would look pretty if only it were made slimmer~ Especially, the fact that my nostril wings were more spread out than my nasal bridge was a really big complex, but I think I was able to get the nasal tip I wanted because they lifted it with costal cartilage while also doing nostril reduction.
At first I wondered whether to get filler.. or try something like a nose lifting procedure. That’s how ignorant I was about surgery, and I thought it might be better to start with a smaller procedure rather than having a major surgery.. lol (Of course, that was a really foolish thought....)
Honestly, I had even booked a consultation at a dermatology clinic, but... no matter how many reviews I looked up, I couldn’t shake the thought that it would be better to just get nose surgery once and be done with it, so I changed direction.. So I deliberately started looking for a hospital with long experience, many review cases of noses similar to mine, and high satisfaction and good results even if the price range was a bit high haha
As I mentioned earlier, they said the area that looked like the nasal dorsum was protruding would be resolved by lifting the nasal tip, and that the most important thing for me was to slim down the nostril wings.. They said a slight nostril reduction would be included, but would reducing only that be enough? They said the basic proportions would only work if the nasal bridge was also osteotomized and made sharper and higher.. As soon as I sat down, they looked at my nose and simply told me, this surgery. this. this. After hearing that, I thought, ah.. this is the place.. lol I had that thought lol Maybe people who have gone to lots of consultations can relate?? You get that feeling, this is the hospital that fits me! lol
On top of that, I don’t particularly need a hospital to be friendly.. Really, if they just check what they can do for the patient and treat me with the same stance before and after surgery, there’s no better hospital than that.. Forget everything else, good results are all that matter.. I think the value? I have about plastic surgery matched well with the place where I decided to have surgery lol They recommended only the necessary surgeries in a straightforward way without many words, honestly discussed with the patient what the results would be, and ultimately understood exactly what I wanted with a precise eye. I thought that was enough.
I had the surgery in March last year, and even though it was my first surgery, maybe it’s thanks to the nasal tip material I chose (costal cartilage)?? It’s maintaining well without drooping, and I think the swelling has gone down well all the way to the nasal tip. I thought it would be enough if there didn’t need to be a crazy before-and-after difference, just “it got slimmer~ it gathered nicely~,” and it turned out just as I expected and just as I communicated with the director, so I’m even more satisfied, yes!
Goodbye to the old days when I was often stressed, thinking my image would stay round and soft forever because of the blunt nasal tip caused by my bulbous nose.. After nose surgery, I hear a lot that I became prettier, and I’m also hearing that I look sharper, like someone who works hard at what she does, and more feminine lol I never had any particular dissatisfaction with my original face either, but I like how I look after nose surgery much more, so I feel like my self-esteem has gone up.
Some people may not be able to 100% understand the feelings of people who look into plastic surgery.. and procedures.. but after I had one success? myself, I feel like I can empathize more deeply with the effort to “become prettier”.. Self-satisfaction is huge first of all, and once you overcome a complex in any way, the attitude toward life you face afterward..?? That kind of thing really changes a lot, and I do think it makes you happier.. (This is absolutely not a post recommending plastic surgery, so I hope you choose carefully on your own.)
