I had double-eyelid surgery in 2013. I was young, so I didn’t think much of it, and my mom had come into a lump sum of money and said, “Let’s make my daughter double eyelids,” so she asked around and took me to a large hospital in Gangnam. I really just followed along because she said they would do it for me, so I had no desired design or anything! lol I had a lot of fat in my eyes, so they removed some fat and did a partial-incision in-out line. I still remember it. During sedation anesthesia, they said they were checking the design and told me to open my eyes from time to time, and each time, I faintly heard the doctor talking. It was about an idol he had recently operated on appearing on TV, and I was half-asleep, wondering who that could be.
The result was severely uneven sausage eyes! Even after two months, especially my right eye had a bit of folded skin and became sausage-like, so the hospital reoperated only on the right side.
And the result lol I was left with a large incisional scar, and it’s still sausage eyes.
Now that I’m a bit older, I’m planning to save up the money myself and get revision surgery.. My mom was really upset tooㅠ Back then I was way too young, so even if something went wrong, I didn’t know how to judge it properly.. Now I’ve even forgotten that doctor’s name, but I hope someday he stubs his little toe on a closet about ten times.. hahaha
