Then this time, I ended up getting double eyelid surgery.
Because of the nature of my job.. I wanted a natural inner double eyelid while improving my eyes so they looked larger vertically. So I was told it would be good to do the double eyelids with the buried suture method and ptosis correction together, and it’s now been 3 months since I had the surgery.
I also had asymmetry, so I asked them to improve that too, but they said it couldn’t be completely corrected. Still, the overall eye shape looks a bit more open and refreshing, and the slight asymmetry improved enough that it doesn’t bother me much, so I’m satisfied.
People around me also say it seems like I made the right choice, and since I’m satisfied too, I wonder if I should have done it earlier when I was younger. I slightly regret not traveling freely before the COVID era and leaving behind prettier photos. ㅠㅠ
Anyway, from around 2-3 months, even the residual swelling seemed to go down more, and it started to feel natural. I hope living with COVID comes soon!
