I just went to a neighborhood clinic through a friend’s recommendation and got it done. I didn’t want to wear glasses, and I was scared to wear contact lenses, so I just lived with my bare eyes. But since my eyesight was bad, I kept squinting, which often made people misunderstand me, my impression got worse, and most of all it was so inconvenient not being able to see well. So I got LASEK a year ago. In reviews, people said the first 3 days were extremely painful, so I was really worried, but I didn’t have that kind of pain like my eyes were going to rip apart the way the reviews described. Maybe I’m suited for LASEK? I do think my vision has gotten sliiightly worse. Because I’m on my phone until late every day haha. On days when I’m not feeling well, I do feel like I can’t see as well as usual, but if I sleep well, it gets better again. Conclusion: if you’re debating whether to do it or not, definitely do it. And take good care of your eyes. Oh, and after the surgery, my eyes did get a bit dry, but being able to see well with a little dryness is better than having poor vision with moist eyes.
