Before<before>After after<after>From around 3 months after surgery, in terms of appearance, I don’t think there was anything major where the swelling visibly changed. There are individual differences, but for me it feels like it’s all gone??
Now that it’s been 5 months, I have no problems at all with opening my mouth or chewing, and sensation came back a long time ago! There’s almost nothing uncomfortable in daily life! Other than still feeling like I have a bit less strength when chewing something tough, like the force doesn’t go in as well, there’s nothing problematic, and they said this will also improve as more time passes, so I’m not worried!
Before getting facial contouring, everyone told me to lose weight, that it would be fine if I lost weight, but after actually having the contouring surgery, I feel relieved that, as expected, it wasn’t fat but bone, and that I chose bone surgery rather than liposuction. My face shape has really become slimmer, and after surgery was the first time I heard someone say I looked sharp! haha
I had my last follow-up at 3 months, and now I think I’ll have my final follow-up next month and be done. As long as you do exactly what the hospital tells you to do and avoid what they tell you not to do, it seems to maintain well without any problems haha
