Thigh liposuction (real-time review on day 2)

Before <photo before liposuction> After <the morning after liposuction, before major swelling> Writing a review of thigh liposuction. (Apgujeong T.R.I thigh liposuction real-time review on day 2) My thighs had been the biggest dilemma of my life. No matter how much I exercised or dieted, only my upper body kept slimming down, so the balance between my upper and lower body was really off, and it bothered me. Then suddenly one day I thought, if effort can't fix it, let's solve it with money, so I made a consultation appointment and had the consultation. (For the hospital, I just went with the place that had been mentioned the most since long ago when I searched liposuction and looked up reviews on apps and cafes. Apgujeong T.R.I)

During the consultation, the director looked at my thighs + overall lower-body balance, which areas were the main problem, the condition of my fat/skin, etc. Rather than just removing everything, they considered the parts that should be left and the harmony with my buttocks. (No InBody scan) So I decided to add the buttocks as well, not just the thighs. (The price went up because the buttocks were included. The cost varies according to each person's body condition.) + I bought the compression garment at the hospital. It seems like you can buy it separately, and that would probably be cheaper. The compression garment was expensive ㅠ

After the consultation and payment, I had blood tests and a blood pressure check (I liked this), changed clothes, and went straight into the operating room. (Consultation - payment - prep - surgery - post-op wrap-up(?) all proceeded immediately with no waiting. It felt a bit factory-like, but I liked it.)

The operating room atmosphere cannot exactly feel nice. It is cold, embarrassing, and nerve-racking, and if you decide to get liposuction you have to accept that. As soon as I thought, what if the anesthesia doesn't work, I woke up and had already slept deeply for 2 hours after surgery. Other reviews said it was cold, but I was hot. They had made the bed that warm in preparation for how cold it might be. Even after I woke up, they told me to sleep more if I was tired (it was almost 9 p.m.), checked whether my mouth was dry, and since I was fasting (I had surgery in the afternoon, so I had fasted for almost over 24 hours ㅠ so hard), they said my blood sugar must be low and gave me juice. After surgery, they did blood tests and a blood pressure check again. They removed the bandages, finished up, and I left the hospital. -I came out around 10, so I couldn't go to the pharmacy, and came home feeling like something was unfinished / I bought the needed medications the next day.

After coming home, the first day did not hurt, and I did not have much bruising. I thought, am I someone who doesn't bruise? I took the subway home and walked just fine. Around bedtime my knees hurt a little. A swelling feeling?? That was the end of day one.

The next morning I felt better than expected again, so I even went for a walk. (Maybe I shouldn't have gone for a walk.) From the afternoon, it suddenly hurt. The bathroom? Sitting down was so hard. I had to go to work and attend a seminar too, but sitting with my buttocks down hurt so much ㅠ By the afternoon, crossing a crosswalk quickly was impossible ㅠ I had to walk slowly, just barely making the timing, and my knees and calves started swelling like crazy!!! The bruises on my thighs got huge too!! It probably differs by person, but that is how it was for me. Still, walking is uncomfortable but I can walk, and sitting is uncomfortable but I can sit ㅠ It is not a condition where going to work is impossible(?) Today is the second day, so maybe that is why, and I don't know how tomorrow will be ㅜㅜ haha Aside from the leg pain (it may have hurt more when sitting because I had liposuction on the buttocks too haha), nothing else hurts! My upper body and mind are totally fine!!

The manager who consulted with me gave long and detailed guidance on follow-up care methods and frequently asked questions, so I can look things up like in an information booklet when curious, and we keep communicating on KakaoTalk while they check my condition.

(Review of thigh condition) As seen in the photo, on the morning after surgery (before major swelling, though there was already some swelling then), my thighs became thinner. All the countless times I had worked so hard for thighs of this size flashed through my mind. Of course there is swelling, and honestly I know I cannot become the truly desired skin-and-bones skinny. I have hopes that they will get thinner once the swelling goes down, but they say it takes a lot~~~ of time, maybe several months? for it all to go down, so I will post later about what happened. Because spending the money would feel wasteful otherwise, I feel more motivated to manage what I eat and try to reduce body fat overall!! (I was originally normal weight with a lower-body-dominant build, so maintaining weight or dieting is not very difficult for me. It differs by person. If it is difficult, appetite suppressants can be prescribed.)
