I had hump nose removal and nasal tip surgery (ear cartilage and septal cartilage) at Oblige Plastic Surgery. I’m currently one month post-op!
I had always been concerned about my long nose and hump nose, so while looking into plastic surgery clinics, I learned about Director Kim Da-alm at Oblige Plastic Surgery, which is well known for hump nose and implant-free nose surgery. After consultation, I booked surgery for hump nose correction and nasal tip rhinoplasty (ear cartilage + septal cartilage).
On the day of surgery, I was more nervous than I expected, but the director, consultant, and nurses were all really kind and made me feel comfortable. When you’re having surgery, you need to feel at ease, so I think this is really important too!
Before going into surgery, I designed it again with the director and consulted on how the surgery would be done before entering! During the surgery, they disinfected my nose, removed nasal hair, and so on, then I was put under sedation and fell asleep. Once I fell asleep, the surgery was over, and I rested in the recovery room before going home.
On the day of surgery, it was uncomfortable because there was cotton packed in my nose, but they removed the cotton the next day, so it wasn’t that difficult! I had no pain from the day of surgery. I was really worried because I thought nose surgery would hurt, but I thought, why doesn’t it hurt..? If it was going to be like this, I should have done it sooner.. The day of surgery with cotton in my nose and wearing a splint for about a week were uncomfortable, but there was no pain!
After one week, I removed the splint, the hump was gone, and the nasal tip was naturally lifted, so I really loved it.. With the nasal tip lifted and the nose length shortened, it felt exactly like the style I wanted. After rhinoplasty, people around me all said it turned out beautifully, and because it looked natural, some people didn’t even know I had surgery. Many also asked where I had it done.
Now it has been one month, and I really like that it turned out in the style I wanted. The clinic also provides good aftercare, and if you’re thinking about rhinoplasty, I really recommend Oblige!
