This is my first time writing in a community after surgery, so I’m nervous haha If anyone here has similar conditions to me and is considering breast surgery, I hope this helps even a little!
I had only been worrying about my breasts for years, but this time I suddenly got motivated after seeing a friend who had breast surgery showing off her figure at a summer festival, so I went for a consultation right away and had the surgery....
I went in without knowing much, but the doctor checked and diagnosed everything, like my body measurements, proportions, and tissue~ They also explained the implants and surgical methods in a lot of detail, so I think it was easy to decide haha. I said I was hoping for about a D cup because I was being a bit ambitious, and I tried fitting Motiva and Mentor. Compared with Motiva, I liked how soft Mentor felt when I touched the implant and during fitting, so I decided to have surgery with Mentor (I was debating between Mentor and Menbu, but Menbu was also released recently, and it felt fuller when I tried it on lol, so I decided on Menbu)
After setting the surgery date, I got nervous and searched a lot, and people said the transaxillary incision hurts more than the inframammary incision. So I was really worried, wondering what if it hurt. And as expected, on the day of surgery, it did hurt lolololol. As the anesthesia wore off, I felt dazed, so I think that may have made it hurt more I took my prescribed medication plus one extra painkiller and barely managed to fall asleep. But from the next day, it was better than I expected?! Of course, I did take painkillers, but it wasn’t to the point where I needed extra medication (for everyone worried that a transaxillary incision will hurt, it’s bearable, don’t worry lol). Instead, because of the compression bra, my armpit area felt tight and throbbed, but I could still use my arms carefully (enough to brush my teeth and wash my face)
It’s now been over 1 month, and I recently went to the hospital for a follow-up. The doctor said the shape has settled really beautifully now and that it will get even prettier from here~ lololol. It’s not a natural U-shaped cleavage yet, but when I wear Calvin, it’s pretty nice
