(Writing about an old procedure for leveling up in a community)
8 years ago, I got domestic filler in my nasolabial folds and nose.
The nose barely showed much difference, and the nasolabial folds were filled, but the foreign-body sensation was really severe, and it continued for several years. Even now, if I touch my nasolabial folds, I can feel a foreign-body sensation. So I don’t recommend putting filler in the nasolabial folds.
After that, I filled volume in the nasolabial folds with Rejuran Healer, and it was good with no foreign-body sensation. (The downside is that it disappears too quickly.) (I put Rejuran Healer into hollow upper eyelids/upper eyelid area, and that also does disappear quickly, but there’s no foreign-body sensation, and if you manage it well by applying collagen cream and things like that, it still seems to last fairly long.) Even if Rejuran Healer disappears quickly, it seems better than getting filler, feeling a foreign-body sensation, and smiling with a strange expression ...
Summary: I don’t recommend filler in areas like the nasolabial folds where the muscles move a lot; it seems okay in areas that don’t move, like the nose. The consultants or doctors who do plastic surgery consultations all said it would be absorbed, but that was a total lie. (How can they lie so shamelessly as if giving a definite answer?)
