I had LASIK surgery 15 years ago at the largest hospital in Seomyeon. Back then, it was still the early days, so there were all kinds of stories... about side effects... But wearing contact lenses made my eyes too tired, and glasses were uncomfortable, so I went ahead with LASIK surgery. For 3 days, I kept tearing up, couldn’t see properly, and just lay there. As expected, time was the answer... soon I could see well, and I became able to live daily life without glasses. I maintained 1.0 vision for more than 5 years, then after that it gradually started to decline, and now it has gone down to 0.3~0.4. I wear glasses when needed, and in everyday life, I’m fine just living without glasses.
The glare is not severe either, and I strongly recommend LASIK. When you’re young, you can dress up without wearing glasses, and even if your vision worsens later and you wear glasses again, by then you’ll be in your 40s~50s, so it’s okay. At that age, glasses actually suit you quite well.
