As of today, it has been 2 weeks since I had 2.5 types of facial contouring at ㄴㅌ Plastic Surgery (zygoma reduction + pinless V-line), so I went to have the stitches removed~
Before surgery, my concerns were my protruding 45-degree cheekbones, lateral cheekbones, and square jaw behind the ears, and I had consultations at 4 places that were not large hospitals and where there was only 1 facial contouring director. I chose ㄴㅌ because the facilities were the cleanest, and I liked that the director explained in detail which areas would be good to improve. Also, even though there is only one director, the clinic is fairly sizable, with a 24-hour emergency call center, and the aftercare seemed systematic and well organized, so I liked that too.
From the day of surgery to week 1, I was so swollen that it was hard to even talk, so I was very worried, but by week 2, the swelling had gone down quite a lot, and aside from being careful when eating, there is nothing difficult anymore~
It is still buried under swelling and soft tissue, so it does not show in the photos yet, but before surgery, the square jaw behind my ears looked really thick from the side, and after checking the CT images, it seems they cut it cleanly and well. I normally swell very easily, so I think I have more swelling than other people, but I am taking walks for 2 hours a day and hoping the swelling goes down quickly !
