About 3 years ago, I had epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery (buried-suture method) at a plastic surgery clinic in my neighborhood (Cheongju). I thought eye surgery was something light, but on the day of surgery, the moment I lay down on the operating table, I got so scared I almost ran away haha. I was satisfied with the surgery itself, but the aftercare was not great, so I wouldn’t really recommend it! They said they would get rid of the epicanthoplasty scar, and a nurse, not the doctor, did Fraxel laser under my eyes, but it hurt so much (more painful than the surgery). When I open my eyes half-closed or look from above, I can see the scar tissue? from the epicanthoplasty, but people around me don’t notice it. It bothers me sometimes, but I really like the overall shape.
