Before Before After After (Consultation review) After making an appointment at K-Plus Plastic Surgery, I visited, met Dr. Kim Jin-woo, and set a surgery date! Just like the reviews said, the doctor treated me really kindly, and led the consultation well by asking if I had any questions and so on. It was a consultation that also gave me positive expectations about the surgery. The consultant was kind too, and I felt trust, so I decided to have the surgery.
(Week 1 review) Before surgery, I had a final consultation with the director and went into surgery. The surgery was much less painful than I had worried, so I think I was able to manage my condition well even with cotton packing in my nose!
Three days after surgery, I visited to have the cotton removed, and it was really nice that the director personally checked my progress and I could also get a swelling injection and antibiotic injection. Besides that, I received good care with a swelling laser before leaving.
My face is still very swollen, so my changed appearance doesn't feel real yet, but I thought it would turn out well because they managed everything so thoroughly.
(Week 2 review) After the first week passed, I visited to have the splint removed and the external nasal stitches removed! Just like when removing the cotton, the director personally checked my progress and gave me time to ask all my questions. Being able to receive a swelling laser every time I visit feels like another big advantage.
After the splint came off, the swelling started to go down a lot. The nasal tip swelling is still there, but as the swelling remaining over my whole face drained away, the outline of a pretty nose shape started to show, so I was really excited to see how my nose would change going forward.
(Week 3 review) At the week 2 hospital visit, I had all the stitches inside my nose and behind my ear removed! This time as well, the director personally checked my progress and told me to do warm compresses regularly because there was still a lot of swelling!
As I got close to week 3, the swelling gradually went down and I recovered, so I also went on walks often. It's not completely healed yet, but when I see my changed nose after the swelling has gone down, my satisfaction keeps increasing.
I was grateful to the clinic staff and the director, who helped me whenever I had questions!
(Week 4 review) It's getting close to one month since surgery, and as I walk often and go out, the swelling is decreasing quickly! As the swelling goes down, a slimmer nose shape than before is starting to show, so I'm satisfied. Now I've recovered well enough that it doesn't interfere with daily life at all, so I'm feeling grateful to the director and the clinic.
