I didn’t particularly have inflammation or contracture; I went for a consultation because I wanted to remove the silicone for cosmetic reasons, and after the director looked, they said it was an easy case. They said silicone removal could be done closed, and recovery would be fast. The area where a step-off may form would be filled with AlloDerm; silicone removal is 1.65 million won, and if a step-off is seen during surgery, they’ll fill it with AlloDerm, which would add 1.1 million won. The hospital facilities are shiny, clean, and nice. There was no pressure to book, but the staff friendliness seemed just so-so.
